2010: February 24-25;  July 28-29

Wyoming Bar Exam Format

The Wyoming bar exam is a two day examination.  On day one, the Multistate Bar Exam is administered.  On day two, 11 essays are given and applicant must answer 10. Click here for more information about AmeriBar's Multistate Bar Review Course.

Wyoming Bar Exam Scoring Information

Applicant must score a 130 (scaled) on the MBE.  70% required on essay section (and applicant must score 70% on 6 of the essays).

Wyoming Bar Exam Essay Information

The Wyoming essay portion of the Wyoming Bar Exam consists of eleven questions. An applicant may choose any ten of the eleven questions.  It is administered in one four-hour session from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

As per the Board of Bar Examiners, the subject areas from which questions are taken for the essay portion are listed as follows:

Wyoming Bar Exam - MPRE Requirements
In addition to successfully passing the Wyoming bar exam, an applicant must attain a score of 75 on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam.  A prior score will be accepted if taken within previous three years.  Click here for more information about AmeriBar's Free Online MPRE Review Course.

$200. There is an additional fee for the character and fitness investigation.
